Default Has anyone used a 2GB SD card yet?

The manual reports cards up to 256MB can be used, but I'm sure that's just outdated. I ordered a couple 2GB's from Buy.com - hope they work!

Default yep. I run into probelms copying files to the cards album by album - the card corrupts.

copy all the albums to one folder, then copy that folder to the card.

I haven't had any probs with 2G cards formatted in FAT32 but I use a mac ;-p My handheld GPS manual said the same thing and it takes all kinds of cards - not sure why - maybe they didn't test the radio with bigger cards? The protocols for each card technology are set in stone so that as long as you design your system using the standards everything should work. I'm also quite sure that the controller chips are all made by just a few companies (NEC, TI, Intel etc etc).

2Gb works and the new 8Gb also work. But you are limited to a certain number of tracks per slot regardless of size.

Default Crap, I didnt know 4GB existed. LOL...

Oh well, 2x2GB should do for now. I figure that a 2GB is going to get close to the 400 tracks/card limit, so a 4GB card might be overkill.

Gonna miss my 20GB phatnoise in my B5, but at least now I can see track names
