Default Have you modified your braking habits since owning your RS4?

I've always killed the cruise control by tapping the brake pedal, but doing so in the RS4 results in a nose dive because of the agressive initial bite of the big Brembos. Now I push the cruise stalk forward instead. Anyone else notice this?

Default Haven't really noticed a difference...

I still "tickle" the brake to disengage cruise.

I have noticed that the timing between engaging the clutch and taking my foot of the accelerator is a little touchy, though.

Because of the engine's tendency to rev a little after the load is removed, taking the car out of gear when coasting to a stop requires a little more attention to the timing between the right foot and left foot. If mistimed, there is a little clunking sound from the tranny that reminds me. Not a big deal, just a little quirk...

Then maybe the cruise disable switch (on the brake pedal) needs adjustment on my car. Especially since you say "tickle". It's more of a "stab" or a "jab" that's needed on my RS4.

You can tap the clutch instead of brake if you prefer. I use stalk.

Default no, but I've only used the cruise control once.

using the stalk is better for that anyway, because you can then 'resume' your previously set speed. if you tap the brake, you have to re-set the speed....IIRC.

Hmm, mine resumes after stalk or brake by pulling towards wheel.

i'm probably thinking of a different car.
