The Pilot Sports are an awesome tire. I had Pilot Sports on my M5 prior to the PS2s now. I can't say that the PS2s are any better, and I have heard some M5 guys think the Pilot Sports were the better tire (compared to PS2).

Default To post multiple pictures, you first need to add them to the pictureposter or some other website,

then, to add multiple pictures in a post you just use HTML img tags.

i.e. &lt;img src=''&gt;

Add the full url of the image between the quotes.

e.g.
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/98422/rs41.jpg">

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/98422/rs42.jpg">

Default Original order date...August 1..Exponentially better

I don't think the actual order went in until 9/1, with an expected delivery date of Week Dec 11th. Got notice end of september to expect delivery week of Oct 30th.....arrived this past Monday.
It is far better than I thought. I had today off, and i live on the Coast. THEre are some amazing windy and twisty roads here that lead up into VERY rural CT..Lots of farmland. I spent three hours this am driving this beauty around. Yes, better than I expected. The handling..superb...It feels like a different car than My B7 S4. Its transmission is leaps ahead. I have not broken 5500 on the rpm yet, which is where I hear this puppy really lets loose, but so far....just an incredible piece of machinery.... I love this car..I've gone to bed the last coupld of nights looking forward to my drive to work......

Default Nice!

Congrats on the car, nice to have another one in the neighborhood. Did your rural CT roads look at all like the pic in my sig

Are you sure there isn't a tiny PS2 located in a box under the end of the word PilotSport? You gave me quite a scare since I just put on a replacement and then I started thinking I added a PS2 to 3 PS's... But I just went out to the parking lot to confirm and noticed how small the actual PS2 box is... Maybe you missed it (?)

One word of advice--not to knock inskip (if that's where you got your car) because I have had nothing but positive experiences with them, but when my car was delivered after their "final detail," there was no detectable wax on the car--no beading, still some adhesive from the foam protectors, etc... I told them to take it easy and not to introduce any swirls, so maybe they were just being careful--I am a bit of a detailing fanatic so I would have taken it through the dawn/claybar/OP/klasse twins/p21s process anyway. But I would highy recommend looking into it in your case just to make sure. New England winters are especially hard on cars with no protectant. Feel free to contact me if you need help in that area...

Congrats!

Default Congratulations! Mine came with P Zeros but I got them swapped with another undelivered RS4's PS2s.

Are you sure yours aren't PS2s?

Default Yup.....

Looks like it. Where'd you take that sweet pic?. I started out on 49 just off of 95 and headed north up into Voluntown. A nice windy road about 15 miles long, wth almost no cars on it..Cruised back on some other back roads I just picked by looks until I hit route 2, then stopped by the Johnathan Edwards winery off of route 2 in North Stonington. It is a great trip with some great roads and that little winery is pretty neat.
It is a little dark now, but I looked at the tread...they are PS2s. same as my S4...Which is great, as I loved em on the S4. Inskip was great. On my last black S4....When I picked it up it did have some swirls from buffing. I could not buff them out myself. THis one did not. It was definitely waxed though, as this past rain beaded right off. I just did the wash, clay, wax, polish today. I also took off the V8 badge and got rid of the lic plate holder. We'll see how long it takes for me to get pulled over for that....I have some stuff from Adams polishes, but I have to tell you I think the brand "NU Finish" is better. It is what I used on my S4, with about a every other month claying. How about yourself??

Definitely putting some form of lidar protection on her. Maybe the LPP, though Blinder is suppose to have a new model/version of the M20 extreme coming out the end of the month. I've been lit up almost every trip I made up to Vt last year, and twice in Maine. I didn't get ticketed, but had some close calls.

Unlike the S4, which I use to drop into 6th at 60 or so, the RS4 feels very comfortable in 4th at 60....At 80 I hit 6th today, and it felt like I was coasting. THe cornering i smuch better than the S4.
