Default hey Der Kimbo....regarding your wheel designs.....

...have you considered offering a *forged* B7RS4 replica? I'm surprised no one has thought of this yet....I have yet to see a wheel on the RS4 that looks better than the OEM design. If it was available in a forged 1-piece version with the option of either silver or titanium finish, that could be a winner.

Lighter, but keep the looks of what many people think is the best looking wheel on the RS4?

Default has it been determined exactly how much lighter per wheel?

i'm wondering what's worth the expense. of course, some prefer forged for other reasons.

Default I think you are right Bob. It is a great looking wheel design. Perhaps a well made forged version...

Would sell if the price was right.

Default lighter and stronger, and also the option of different finishes.

in my case, I really like the titanium finish, and right now my only option would be to get the OEM titanium wheels. if i'm going to replace the wheels, I might as well get the design and finish I like AND get a lighter, stronger wheel to boot. we also could go WIDER.

Default good points

whether wheel mfgrs will get behind this, based on such limited RS4 production, will be interesting to see. hopefully you will have some choices.

Default I think 5 lbs/wheel weight reduction is possible.

the OEM wheel is 26.4 lbs. For comparison, one example of a forged, one-piece 19x8.5" wheel would be the BBS RGR, which weighs 21.2 lbs. so I think a 5lb/wheel reduction is definitely possible.
