I see his side of things too. He's good for this board, that's for sure.

Default Dude....on white cars, might as well use 409 or carb cleaner....

...it makes little difference. I've actually used Windex on a white car once!

White cars are very forgiving insofar as what products you use to achieve a nice finish....this of course, assumes that the finish is extremely flat.

I've seen several white cars that were first high speed buffed to get the clear flat. After that, the cars were all maintained differently...one guy was using Turtle Wax while another guy was using Meguiar's Gold Class. I saw and felt no difference.

Like all cars, the key is getting the finish absolutely flat.

I've tried literally hundreds of products and I keep coming back to Meguiar's Gold Class. Why? Easy to put on, easy to get off and side by side tests with a wide range of products have proven that this stuff is hard to beat.

I think Zaino is highly overpriced, no matter how much Carnuba is worth, as I can't tell the difference to look at or to the touch. I fully understand that a higher Carnuba content equals a higher price, but it is also much harder to apply and to remove.

I like some of the Mother's products, too, but my own testing across both Mother's and Meguiar's across all of their available waxes and polishes keeps bringing me back to the Gold Class.

Disclaimer: I use to work at Meguiar's.
