Hi all, new to the club! Can someone unroll the rope ladder?
Pulled the trigger on an oh-so-slightly used Sprint Blue, and so far I'm loving every minute of it. As of now, I call it the Atomic Jellybean.
Been lurking for a bit, checking out what are some of the de rigeur mods. So far, it looks like a lightweight set of wheels (I like cleaning the RS4 OEM wheels about as much as I like looking at them) and a short-shifter kit are in my immediate future. Any other must-dos?
Glad to see the RS4-um isn't behaving like the childish playpens that are some of the other fora, although I do see you have your moments. :-) Maybe the cover charge helps keep out some of the more juvenile crap.
Hope you'll have me, it's been ages since I've been on any AW forum.

Hi!
Welcome, and sweet looking car. Looks like you got it in perfect condition from here.
I'm not sure why you'd want to ditch the stock wheels, Frankly I love the looks of them (and they only look better in Titanium color).

Congrats!! I am close to "pulling the trigger" myself, can I ask...
what you paid and how many miles?...I am concerned about the back seat room..but it's really time to start thinking about me!?...if anyone else who recently picked one up used would like to volunteer what they paid and how many miles... that would be great...!!
thanks..
thanks..

Thanks
When I got it it had only 2K miles on it. Dealer had it listed for $64K, I ended up paying 59.5K for it.
It is the "base" model, with no premium package.
Rear seat room? Adequate for short trips with adults, my son is 11, and he fits back there just fine. Wasn't really an issue for me, since we have the Touareg.

They're not bad, I just like a simple 6-7 solid spoke look, like I have on the TT
but even more than aesthetics, I'd love to reduce the unsprung weight, as I'm sure the OEM wheels ain't exactly light. :-)
I agree with you in that they do look better on the RS4 than on other Audis.

Welcome
It is hard to beat the stock wheels on the RS4. The B5 RS4 / RS6 wheels look OK if you are looking for simple spokes although I think it makes the car look too retro. Just look carefully as most aftermarket wheels do not look as good as the stock wheels.
