i went with daytona, only because i've wanted that color since i saw my first RS6. but avus...
...is amazing in person. no picture does it justice. ever.
don't think you can go wrong either way. they are probably the 2 most popular colors, maybe in top 3 with PB.

You have to see Daytona in the Sun!
My salesman had the RS4 sales kit from the streets of tomorrow in Atlanta. It has really large paint chips 5x5+. They are the real deal not a duplication of the paint. I was torn between the Sprint, Avus or Daytona. In the sun the Daytona is incredible, larger metal flakes and that made my choice easy. I love Bob's pictures but after looking at his and Darryl Bond's I feel good about my choice. The Daytona seems to show off all the silver trim and rims better.

Daytona...
The avus has some powder blue in it - looks quite blue in the bright sun - personally I prefer pure metal flake silver with no added pigments. Go with Daytona it's a beautiful car.

look in my pic poster, that's all I have at the moment.
also, check out the video in the review on Edmunds.com posted here earlier today, they used an Avus silver test car.
