Hotels for the RS4 2 Day Program Wed-Thu, 1-2 Oct 2008 @ the Infineon Speedway in Sonoma, CA.

I would like to know who is going & where they are staying...it seems that the closest of the hotels suggested is the Inn Marin, but since there are only 5 other participants for this program, would like to have dinner with them the nite before on Tue, 30th Sep, & the nite of the 1st Oct, so if many of us stay @ the same hotel, then it would be easier to all have dinner & drive over to the track the next morning. Open to any of the hotels, except the Carneros Inn...it's like $1,000 / nite.<ul><li><a href="https://secure.audidrivingexperience.com/2008/?area=personal&class=ASE&event_id=3089& ;a96rfdev=null&b10PUi=100">RS4 2 Day Program</a></li></ul>

if so, i recommend the ritz-carlton.
make sure you get a Club Level room, they serve 5 meals a day in the lounge up there (heavy hors d'eovres actually) plus they have a full bar...and it's all gratis.
never stayed at the ritz, will have to try it next time

If you do want to stay in wine country...
I recommend the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa. It's about fifteen minutes from the track and the missus can enjoy the spa while you're gettin' your speed on. Makes for a happier life all around.

Stayed here with the Ex about 4 years ago...
nice place if you're bringing the spouse. Just down the road from the French Laundry. Great restaurant (if you can get reservations).<ul><li><a href="http://www.maisonfleurienapa.com/">Maison Fleurie</a></li></ul>

The Inn Marin is not bad... San Francisco is way more fun and about a 30 minute drive
Be sure to stop by our facility and say hello, we are at Infineon Raceway too!

Embassy Suites San Rafael. In tuesday, out saturday.
Embassy Suites are nice. Free booze in the evening, and a nice cooked to order breakfast. This one was the closest place where I could use HiltonHHonors points...and just down the road (14 miles) from the track.
If there's a dinner the night before, I'm in. I'll be able to get email on my phone, so just let me know.
