'inferior' is a matter of preference...

I find the new format more user friendly & flexible...
the fact that active threads pop to the top, and dead ones fall away is nice...

also you don't have to see every post in every thread...you can open the ones that interest you...

but in the whole scheme of things, doesn't really matter...

I've said it before and I'll say it again - the behavior has been pretty ridiculous. Openly soliciting members to abandon the site, throwing up posts every 5 minutes to convince the rest of the world that the site sucks and they should abandon ship, not giving the forum or Jason and crew a chance to tweak the software despite the fact that this site has been a valuable resource for over a decade. Most pathetic, however, is the many who instead of just leaving (which I don't think anyone has a problem with - free choice is free choice), just keep spewing forth crap instead of just...leaving.
