I'm thinking a bug/tar remover are chemically too harsh for the clear bra film that it might etch or discolor it. Clay bar perhaps?

Default Alcohol

The film can also be buffed with the same polish you use to buff clearcoat.

Default I like using plexus

I also will use Meguire's plastic polish and cleaners. I used to use them on my Boxster plastic window. Works great on the clear bra.

Default 3M General Purpose Adhesive Remover. I use it to remove tire chunk scuffs,

tar, grease from my clear bra after ACNA events. Use a soft cotton towel. 3M Imperial Hand Glaze also works well, again using a soft cotton towel.
