How do you remove the license plate holder?

How do you remove the license plate holder?
Do you have to remove the hole grill? I removed the 2 screws behind the plate and the 2 screws under the holder on the lower right and left but it was snug up top. I didn't want to force it. The replacement has tabs for 6 screws. The parts guy told me it was for an B7 S4. It is possible the RS4 has a different part. The one I got is painted metallic black.

Click "Front Filler Panel Install" near the bottom of my sig.
With 6 holes, it sounds like you were given the incorrect panel. If it is more than a 1 cm thick, you have the wrong one. It seems like the dealers are ordering the wrong ones more often than not.

They said that Phantom Black was not an option, the had grey, satin black, and some other type of grey.
I got part 8E0 807 287 C 1QP, grey. I gave them a part number of 8E0 807 287 C Z9Y and he sait it was not a valid part number.
