The RS5 talk is really getting to me. A high-output motor (v8/v10, not sure which to believe) w/ small twin-turbos?!?! Oh god! A little low cost tuning and what a monster. But if I'm going to have two doors, it's going to be a sportscar -- I'm not a big fan of sedans as the seem kinda pointless to me (not interested in having people shoehorn themselves in and out my car). I'm guessing it's going to be at least 4-5 years before we see a B8 RS4.

maybe a slightly different state of tune to give it a few extra hp. I would be very surprised if it ends up with turbos or the V10.

I think it will be 2011 before we see the next RS4....if they even build one. remember, there was no B6 RS4, there may not be a B8 either.

next they're making the RS6, then prolly a RS5, then another RS4. This info was from the head of the customer relations guy at the Audi factory in Neckarsullm. While showing me how all the cars are made.

I don't want to see them making 10's of thousands of RS's or anything, but it would be nice if they could make 2 limited model RS's at a time. Like the RS6 and RS5.

I totally forogt about this. The guy mentioned that quattro is a;ready in the process of messing with the R8 engine, or even replacing it all together for an RS model. When he showed me then engine bay, I commented that there was soo much room in there, and he just kinda looked at me and winked, and whispered that there was a reason why the engine bay was so big.
