Default Thanks, but I'm going to get the same stuff the cars come in from my clear bra place....

I think that will do it. Plus I was told the racing tape leaves more adhesive on the car.

Default waste of time.

unless it's going to be a show car, you're eventually going to put a lot more miles on the car w/o tape on the front end (or at least I would hope so), so why bother doing it now?

Then why did you buy a new RS4? Because it is new and has no rock chips on the front, no door dings, no cracked windshield, etc.... Just wait a few years and you can buy one of these. Fluffhead just wants to protect his new baby from the trucks and the rocks they inevitably will throw on his new car. IMHO he is smart to take the precauction to protect his investment. Don't be so grizzled!!! ;P

Default I understand wanting to protect it, but my point is...

...it's going to be unprotected at some point, and for many many more miles, right? If not, why not just tape up the entire car? I could see doing that if it was going to be a show car, but if not....why?

BTW, my grizzly pic kicks *** over yours:
