I was looking at the clearbra yesterday after a wax job, and its more noticeable on my sprint blue than it is on my graphite grey IS300. I thought about taking it off, until I carefully looked at my front end. Basically, the tiny amounts of paint that werent cover by the bra had dozens of white paint chips.. just peppered everywhere. It looked like my RS4 had been through atmospheric rentry through space debris. I can only imagine how bad it would be without the clear bra. That wiped any thoughts of removing the bra out of my mind instantly.

But it made me think how much does a respray end up costing?

strength primer/paint/clear coat...my bumper is 100% obliterated by mini and maxi hits...glad my car is Daytona or it would look like hell if it was Avus.

I will never own a car again without the clear-bra on at least the front bumper and leading edge of the hood.

Clearbra = pocket protector = fugly. Respray then quit tailgaiting.
