How slick is this?!

The RS4 should come from the factory with this as an option

I've seen this before in Audi's and especially BMW's...
IMHO it isn't really doing it's job if it's located there. The point of a "concealed" display is so that others can't see it. But if it's in the rear view everyone behind you others can see it better then if you just used the main detector. Plus, the main unit will be located right next to the rear view anyway, so it's not really doing much as far as positioning.

I guess the question is...
where are the sensors located? Have they taken apart the V1 and incorporated them into the mirror housing? If so, that's a great setup.

What's the point? Where's the V1 unit mounted?
I personally don't like having the arrows and lights visible to other drivers (cops), and moreover, unless the V1 has been 'built in' to the car somehow (unpossible AFAIK) this is as useful as mounting a tachometer pod next to your factory dash tach. I.E., it's just dumb.
The whole point of the remote display is to hide the arrows and lights!

Well...
you should be able to turn it off somehow so if pulled over the mirror looks stock. That's the whole idea right. IF not, then i wouldn't be interested either.
