Default How is the US spec driver seat holding up?

I've noticed a a few small ripples on my seat. It's located where one would rest the right portion of his a$$. I always remove my wallet while driving, so I figure it's the button from my dress slacks rubbing on the material. However, there's no visible sign on the left side. Perhaps, I'm a "leaner" and put more weight on my right side. . . anyway, a search for leather on the detailing forum produced more threads than I really care to read through. Thanks.

Default I've noticed the same as you.

Also, where the sides of the seat flare up, I've noticed that it is slightly creased by the action of sliding out of the seat.

None of the wear makes me feel that it is not going to hold up for the entire life of the car and I've grown accustomed.

Speaking of the seats, I am going to go detail them now, just for fun.

Default What are you using? I've applied Adam's leather conditioner a few times since Dec.

BTW, were you in Pacifica last weekend? Sunday night around 5:30 pm, near 24-hour Nautilus and Straw Hat Pizza? I was on one of those aerobic machines making up for a weekend of abuse. . .

Default oh yeah...i produce my own mink oil, which is great for the leather.

but seriously...the only place i see any wear is the left side seat bolster, which has a little faint wrinkle. that's almost unavoidable in cars with more agressive seat bolstering, in my experience.

LMAO! But don't go trashing the mink oil just because you use Lexol banana extract!

Default I am applying ResistAll to touch up the leather from time to time

and I go to 24hr there all the time. In fact, given the picture of your Daytona Grey, I wonder if that might be your car parked outside my window. I can see it now. LOL.

First RS4 I've seen in the wild, it's quite exciting.

Default Must be a 3rd RS4 in the area!. . . I'll keep an eye out for you at the gym

I wear an old grey Nike hooded sweatshirt with an Audi emblem ironed over the swoosh. Take care.
