True that! Couldn't fathom getting the E60 M5, so kept my E39 M5 and bought RS4 ;-o)
Came out to the same cash outlay more or less, this way I have 2 awesome cars instead of a Banglist monstrocity (give it high marks for engine though, but that's about it)

Well...
Pros:
- More Interior and Trunk room
- Great Seats
- More gadgets and creature comforts
- It's less expensive than the RS4 (Lease)
- Maintenance included
- It's fast
Cons:
- Not as lively and entertaining as the RS4.
- Driving - Feels larger than it really is
- Still trying to figure out what the suspension is doing. It goes from hollow and soft in comfort, feeling like a stiffly sprung overweight boat loose in it's moorings in normal, to overly stiff and unuseable on the street in sport
- Rubbery shifter
- The driver side exterior mirror is broken already
- Drivers seat is broken already
- iPod cable (which was paid for in the options) is missing and dealer wants to charge me $400 for a replacement
