Default I finally got two pictures of what the car's dash looks like with the HVAC system out...

You can see the generous amount of room now available on the passenger's side. :-)

Better picture, more details and look at all the wiring! The red stuff on the tranny, the black stuff above it and the black stuff on top of the dash all will be removed. It's the same tar like rubber sound deadening I removed throughout the car.

Default Plans to paint the cage?...

...or is that out of the question based on how it was built (or perhaps, due to the added weight)?

But of course. We decided on black because it is less visible with the windows rolled up.
