Default I forget who was/is looking for a spare set of wheels. Here is a set on eBay.

There are five of them. One of them has a scuff. The tires are Michelin Pilot Sport A/S.<ul><li><a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AUDI-RS4-19-rims-5-w-Michelin-Pilot-Sport-Tires-S4_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ66485QQhashZitem2300 23636040QQihZ013QQitemZ230023636040QQrdZ1">cleek</a></li></ul>

Default Sure. What time do you get in?

Shoot me an email with your flight details. I may be able to pick you up from the airport.

Default 19 vs. 18 inch for winter?...

Is there a significant difference between 18 an 19 inch wheels with winter tires? I was under the impression that the OEM RS4 rims were terrible for winter even with winter tires due to their width. Will thinner 18 inch wheels with winter tires be better, or am I wrong?

Thanks

Default You are correct. The thinner the tires, the better they will perform in the snow.

If you ever watch the World Rally Championship, the tires that they use for the winter rallys are really narrow. I think it allows the tread to get to the hard road/ice surface better so that it does not "float" on the snow.

Default Thanks... Are you guys from Minnesota?...

My wife is from Minneapolis, and we go up there 2-3 times a year. We live in Baltimore, therefore I do not get to bring the RS4 up since we fly. Are there any Audi gatherings the first week in October?

Yes more pounds per square inch on the road surface. Exactly the opposite to running on sand.

Default I live in MN now but I'm not from Minnesota. RSFizzy's just coming to drop some tourist dollars =)

I did learn to drive in snow on Scottish mountain trails though. Does that count?

There should be some sort of gtg or other in October. Drop me an email when you are up this way.
