Default I got it!!

Picked up my RS4 yesterday in Seattle. Blk/Blk. 1 word...WOW. Didn't know I'd love it this much and its only 1 day. The feel, the whine, the power the...you all know what I mean. I've already put 500 miles on it! My poor A8L, I think she's going to be sitting in the garage for awhile.

Quick questions, How do you take care of the brushed aluminum looking (plastic right?) around the windows and front grill?

Default Congratulations!

The trim is real brushed aluminum. The consensus is to use wax on the aluminum trim if the aluminum is clear coated and metal polish if it is not clear coated. The problem is that, AFAIK, nobody is sure whether or not it is clear coated. On mine I have just wiped it down after washing the car except for one time when I used a little wax. The wax seemed to work fine.

Default Let the fun begin!

Congratulations, you're going to love this car. Dude, you put on more miles is a day than I did in three weeks good for you. How long did you have to wait?

Default Way to go. 5K on mine today.

We'll have to do a meet. RI and NJ are only 2 1/2 hrs apart.

more temp related than mileage. Colder temp you can feel the difference.

I noticed mine loosened up quite a bit during the first 500 miles.
