Do you know if the Euro RS4s have the passenger seat occupancy sensor for the airbags, like the US cars do? Apparently Canadian regs don't require this, which just has me wondering if European models have it.

I know that the US didn't get the more aggressive RS4 Recaro due to lack of side airbags, but I've always assumed that they would be plug and play if someone did import them. Without a defeat mechanism for that occupancy sensor, however, they would be useless.

I would like to enable the (Euro) seat belt alarm for the passenger seat but I can't due to the lack of a sensor.

So it seems that putting those sport seats in a US car is going to be a real chore. Probably would have to take the occupancy bladder out of stock seats or something along those lines.
