I just noticed my CD changer isn't working...
...haven't used it since I disconnected the battery, is this normal after a low-voltage episode? As far as I can tell, the headunit, DVD drive, and SD slots are working fine, but it isn't recognizing any of the discs in the changer.

WAG: Unplugging the sat receiver will kill the cd-changer.
Fact is stranger than fiction/obscure information deptartment:
Somehow the sat. radio and the cd-changer are inter-connected on the CAN bus and if you try to go without the Sat receiver then you need a special jumper to make the cd-changer play.

Maybe you hooked up the battey backwards.
Just kidding of course.
To reboot, with the unit off, hold the power button in. The screen will go from completely black to lighting up ever so slightly after about 20 seconds or so of holding the button. When you see that, you can release the button.
And if that doesn't work, borrow your son's baseball bat
