I can't remember where I've read this, but I heard the RS4 is 'de-tuned' and once the e92 m hits the streets, audi will be flashing the ecu to bring it up over 500HP. Am I crazy here, I know i've read this somewhere...

This is a well-known fact, I was driving my M3 one day and was shown the door by a RS4....so I called BMW and they said we will activate the 420HP package...send 75K...oh, and as a gift we will be sending you a new 2008 M3.
