Default Yes!

Its already in the A3 and TT. As for the Rs4 or other cars. Those in the know at Audi won't tell us yet.

Well considering that the next RS4 is a long ways away, I am guessing it won't be in *this* RS4...

Default It won't be in the B7 chassis

If you look at the data for the new A5 which is going to be B8 based chassis. The engine placement is more directly over the wheels instead of ahead of the wheels like it currently is. An excerpt from an article recently on the A5 where they say DSG will be an option with the 4.2 V8.

"The new architecture should benefit dynamically from a more aggressively placed engine that will be mounted further back in the chassis to help front to rear weight bias. This was achieved through Audi's development of new gearbox and front differential positioning that has made it possible to move the front axle forward by roughly four inches."

Which means they can't change this in the existing chassis

Default No DSG for current longitudinal engine Audis (A4, A6, A8, Q7). Future B8 RS car will get DSG...

... Audi's new modular platform, that will support the next A4, A5, A6, A7 & A8 (and all of their S/RS variants), will get DSG mated to the longitudinal engined drivetrain.

Right now only transverse engined Audi's (A3, TT) get the DSG.

No DSG for the current RS 4.

The soonest this will happen is with the forthcoming RS 5, debuting in about 4 years with a 7-speed DSG.
