Strongly disagree
My M3 has an Alcantara wheel, with almost 6000 miles (sorry M, the RS4 has taken the lion's share of the miles lately), is looking forward to a cleaning, but nowhere near "worn".
I realize it is a popular conception that Alcantara wheels are prone to getting nasty, but that's only because those people have not bothered to maintain them. Regular, gentle, preventive cleanings are all that is needed to keep this material happy.

Nope. Not even close...

Now with just under 10,800 miles on the clock it looks...

I wouldn't expect a real suede wheel to last. Neither does Audi. That's why the company uses Alcantara. After all, the major component in the fabric is polypropylene.</font>

This one is Suede not Alcantara...Christian was supposed to send me the P/N
but everyone from quattro was off in Hawaii he said. I have the suede wheel in the Gallardo and its holding up somewhat ok with just about 3k under the belt.

This is about the suede wheel on the RS4 , not TT or "M" ....
... try looking over on www.rs246.com. There's several guys on there who ordered the suede wheel on their RS4 and have found it wearing badly very quickly.
So much so that at least one of them was trying to get the wheel swapped back to a leather one.
