written in the press about the new A5/S5 and how the steering rack was moved forward and closer to the centerline to improve steering feel. What was done to the RS4 to improve steering feel? To me it feels more direct, communicative, and better weighted than any Audi I've driven before. Is it simply that the steering is not overboosted like the other Audis I've driven? I suppose the wider track and tires make a difference. Whatever the reasons I'm happy with the improved steering feel.

you wouldn't do bad by a Shelby GT500
but anything below that is lacking.
i miss the 03, 04 Mustang Cobras, with their independant rear suspension, among other things.
the new Cobras...the chassis has actually digressed.
cash strapped Ford is having to make cost savings decisions all over the place right now. the day will soon arrive where they are forced from the car making business altogether, and will have to survive on their truck business alone.
