other than the looks and the thicker wheel itself....
i dont see any benefit to the euro wheel. The US one had more functionality. Im gonna just wrap the US one with duct tape to make it thicker and print out an image of the euro one and tape it to the front

Hopefully the Euro steering wheel will be available on the 2008 model. The forthcoming 2007 VW.:R32 has a Euro style flat bottomed wheel, so why not us?

It's not the wheel itself, but if that wheel has been crash tested on a particular car...
Audi isn't going to crash test any RS4's at this point just to get the wheel here for one more year of sales.
The R32 wheel is tested on the GTI (I think it's the same wheel coming on the R32).
