I want to bypass the exhaust valves. I see the hose that is supposed to be cut off and plugged.
Is there a way to do it without cutting anything. If i fold the hose and zip tie it will it work? TIA

Look to the rear bumper area
The valve actuator hoses plug into nylon tubes dropping down against the rear bumper.
I unplugged the hoses from the tubes (no clamps on those), and capped the nylon tubes with rubber vacuum caps from Autozone.
Then I wedged the rubber hoses up so they wouldn't flop around.

when in sport mode...
i have heard that the valves are closed between 850rpm and 4500 rms in 1st, 2nd and 3rd and are always open in 4th, 5th, and 6th. So when i do this the valves are always open. Is the car much louder?

Re: when in sport mode...
if you disconnect the vacuum lines the valves remain open at all times. it's a bit louder, but after driving a blown z06 with straight pipes for the past three years it still sounds super quiet to me. would like it louder, but haven't decided how i want to accomplish that yet. would prefer a bolt on cat back, but the costs of the available systems seem ridiculous to me.
i disconnected the black rubber hose from the green lines. i then inserted a screw into the black hose and zip tied it so the screw wouldn't fall out. i then zip tied the lines out of the way using whatever was near by to attach to. i get a bit carried away with zip ties

A few pics in my PicPoster leftover...
...from when I installed the new exhaust setup.
These should give you some reference on how to handle the ends & where I tied them back...

going to try it, couple questions
I am not good at doing things to cars, But I went under and checked mine out and this looks like something maybe I could do. Just one question, Do I plug both the black one that comes from the valve and the nylon one that drops down. Thanks
