Default Audi's resale values are quite shoddy

Alright, Audi' resale values are very shoddy. Especially when compared to the class leading resale values of BMW, Mercedes Benz and Lexus.

However, Audi's resale values, as shoddy as they are (very shoddy, as I said before), are excellent compared to the catastrophically low resale values of Jaguar, Land Rover and, apparently, Maserati.

Mercedes and Audi are racing to be the crappiest among Germans, the race is endless, no winner yet

Default I assume you are talking about resale value in North America between Audi and MB, zumbalak

Actually, Audi recently came in at number 12 out of 36 in quality, reliability, durability and dependability in Consumer Reports.

VW came in somewhere in the upper 20s to low 30s (in terms of score) in quality, reliability, durability and dependability in CR.

BMW came in the low to mid 20s in the same categories in CR. Porsche a little higher or a little lower than BMW in these categories in CR.

MB came in an appalling number 36 out of 36 in these categories in CR.

FWIW, Porsches resale values, while no longer up to snuff with BMW and Lexus, are still good.

Volkswagen's resale values are now worse than Audi's resale values are but still very far ahead of Jaguar (British), Land Rover (also British) and Maserati (Italian).
