But, I haven't checked on this, yet. I plan on attending the Audi DE in October (Infineon).

Default Mine covers it, Reluctantly

I have mine insured through my company as it is leased and my insurance (Selective Ins.) said they don't like it but would cover a DE accident.

Default Re: Mine covers it, Reluctantly

An article in "Sports Car Market" a few months ago said that many insurance companies are now excluding coverage for cars driven on a "racing surface". This replaces the old wording that excluded "racing or practicing for racing".

The really bad part of this is that, according to the lawyer/enthusiast that wrote the article, the companies might exclude even liability coverage. Imagine covering the costs of a law suit if some stuff happens and you end up injuring someone else. (As happened last year when a Ferrari tboned a Carrera GT at a HPDE and killed the occupants.)

Default Most tracks/events have a waiver that you must sign which obsolves you from the responsibility.

At least that has been my "limited" experince
