Input on high milage 07 RS4.
 

I've been looking to by buy a fun weekend car.

An 07 RS4 popped up at my local Audi dealer. The car has 150k miles and the dealer is asking about $17k. I haven't seen the car in person yet, but the sales guy says it's a very clean car or they wouldn't be selling it. I'm getting details on service history and what the dealer has done to it. I'd welcome input on what might be on the horizon for a car with this many miles. I'm assuming the basics have been addressed; brakes, clutch, major services etc. Anything unique I should be looking for on higher milage car? Trans/egine rebuilds, suspension etc. I am aware of the DRC issue.

I would not buy a modified car, basic stuff like wheels, spoiler maybe. Beware of cars on coil overs, other than factory intakes etc. you should bring it to an Indy with a scan tool and have them do a thorough ppi. Any service records the dealer can provide should be looked at closely......Carfax, any signs of bodywork etc etc

So, I talked to the sales guy again. Turns out the car needs quite a bit of work - brakes, rotors, tires at least. Failed emissions, Looose exhaust and some air intake error messages, CEL light, bad front headlight light.

check for the last carbon clean my rs4 gas 142k i just had to replace the coolant tank that is a easy one to see if it is discolored.
