Default Installing Motorsports and need input.

Alright, I am about to install some Ohlins on the car and was wondering if anyone has had a headlight level issue after the car was lowered.

I ask this because when I did the PSS9's on the B6, the headlights pointed up a bit too much so I took it to the dealer to have it corrected and it really didn't do the trick.

My lights were aiming high post-install.

Default I think it's pretty much a given when lowering any car that you may have to

adjust the aim of the lights, be it up or down. On my B5 I had to have them lowered, and on my B7 I had them raised.

Part of the issue aside from the obvious change in ride height is that the rake angle is usually adjusted, even if only slightly.

Default How do you raise the level. I'm sure that I can figure it out but it would be nice to go into the

project with some info.

get a flathead screwdriver, there are leveling screws (white) for the lights under the hood.

Default But that's not the proper way to level the lights and it doesn't really work. You're supposed to

have it vagged at the dealer.

Did it really work for you?

Default Get it VAG'd. They have a machine that does it so much better than you can eyeball.

You can tweak it forever but in my own experience, it comes out better and with less hassle if you have them do it.

You need a VAG-COM to lock the auto leveling to the adjustment position before you turn screws.

I knew it! I turned screws on the B6 S4 after the PSS install and it didn't do crap.
