Iphone/ voice activated name dial from cars phonebook? Anyone able to do this...
if I press voice activation on steering wheel and ask to dial a name it says my phonebook is empty, but my phone book is there, I can manually input names by scrolling with jog wheel? Can't figure this one out...

yes, they're separate, BUT..
If you hit the mode button on the left and then use the scroller, you should be able to scroll through the address book in your phone (mine works on my nokia) - press IN the wheel to dial the shown number. It shows up in your HUD.

you can dial either throught scrolling or by saving voice entries. You first have to
say, "save name" and the car will walk you through it. Then when you push the voice command button, you say, "dial name" or "dial number." I just wish that there was some way to only have the car upload only my favorites from my iPhone rather than my tons of contacts.
