Default iPod integration

I saw on the new 08 models that there is an iPod device in the glove box. Can we add this to the 07 models??

Default Don't know if you want it. Tried it yesterday

and just the playlists show up as discs with no names. Wasn't what I expected.

Default You could.. but you might as well just wipe your *** with the $200

Not sure why there is no problem reading an MP3 from an SD card but it cant read one from a hard drive music player

Default iPod interface is just a CD changer emulation

just like the ICElink aftermarket unit.

Default Our cabriolet came with the iPod adaptor - doubt we will ever use it after seeing how it works.

I will for sure use the SD card slots as they work great. iPod adaptor works just like CD changer. So best to only have 5 playlists (CD 1-5) and CD 6 is "all tracks." Overall, its kind of a joke as you have seen others post here.

Default What's the max size SD card that it accepts? And about how many songs is that?

I guess one can have the ipod software convert to mp3 for the SD cards right?

Default Great news - I had a 2g SD card I use for my HP IPaq and loaded some songs on it

works perfectly.

Off to buy some 2 4g cards tomorrow. Now I am buying software to convert iTunes to mp3.

Thanks for the help everyone

Default Mine came with the ipod kit but the SD cards work better so I got a CD changer off Ebay and I'm

installing that in place of the ipod adapter.
