Default issues with the rs4?

excuse me if there is a list or sticky somewhere, but is there a list of "common" issues that the rs4 typically have? In my MB, pretty much every problem that ppl complained about i eventually got, and it was pretty helpful to resolve before the warranty ran out. also anyone have info on getting wheels for winter driving? anyways thanks in advance.

Default DRC suspension leaks sooner or later - short warranty coverage. Otherwise it's the end

of the production line, so major problems seem to have been sorted out. Oh, and several (better) suspension choices exist to replace DRC.

wow after doing a quick search sounds like that's almost inevitable. how much is it to repair/replace that? For an end of life model that is pretty disappointing.

Default I think the warranty cost was $3,000 or so

At least that's what I saw on their copy of the invoice. My cost was zero. I think if I had the problem again I would get a Stasis suspension. On the track when you are not under cornering forces, e.g. on a straight, and you hit a bump the suspension rises in a surprising and unpleasant manner, not dangerous but definitely wierd.

No, not the Stasis, the stock DRC suspension

Install Hotchkis sway bars and that oscillation and tail twitch will go away.

Agree. That should fix the problem even though I don't have it installed.

If I had to pay 3K myself I'd rather replaced it with stasis. But we still have plenty of warranty.

Default It wasn't tail twitch, the whole suspension lifted up to full extension

when hitting a bump at high speed on a straight on the track.
