Just ordered the new Conti. contact 3's over the PS2's

Actually I asked the dealer I ordered mine from if it comes with PS2's to please swap them with
another RS4 that has either the Pirelli's or the Conti's. Just my feeling about the PS2's. So I think you made a great decision. 
)

I Just changed my worn Pzeros for conti sport 3...read on
they are just awesome street tyres, superior to pzeros and i loved those. Some say they are no good at Motorkanas and track event....thats right they are street tyres......why would u run at the track....run cup sports.

the PS2s aren't $100 per tire more than the sportcontact3...Tire Rack lists the PS2 at $341 and the Contis at $277. So $64 per tire more for the PS2.
the Contis are 1 lb heavier per tire.
the Contis should last longer than the PS2s...treadwear rating 280 vs. 220.

Why? PS2s are incredible tires...I went to them from Conti's (on RS6). Expensive, but if they
come on it take em. Or take em, sell them, buy Contis. But PS2s are a superior tire in my opinion (and two sets of them later).

Had them on my S4. They are loud, wear out fast, and I don't think they grip as good as everyone
claims. Maybe it was just my experience with those tires on that car, but I found that the Goodyear F1's did a great job and didn't wear-out nearly as quickly as the PS2's.
