Just something to look at if you work on your own car
Today I happened to notice the slightest
sheen on the bottom of the spring seats
on both front struts.
They should be dry and might have some
light dust on them but will not hold larger
particles of dirt unless there is a misting
of oil on them.
Just something to look at to make sure to
take your car to a stealership so that
the leaking can be noted.

My car has been riding funny the last couple weeks, a little more movement in the suspension than
before and I noticed the same thing, just a slight film of oil on the front shocks. The dealer of course didn't find any faults and they test drove it and said it is fine but if you didn't drive it every day you probably wouldn't notice the difference. I'm thinking I might be ordering the Ohlin SL setup soon.

That's what a leaking shock will look like
a very light coating of oil beginning at shock seal and creeping down the housing. Of course, with DRC, there are addtl sources of a leak. It should not be wet at all.
