Default Key not working...
Out of the blue my key has stopped working. I can still drive and manually unlock the doors, but the car does not respond to any of the buttons. The small red light does brighten on the remote, but nothing happens. Anyone have this problem. In any event, the car is going in on Thurs for scheduled maintenance.

Does the other key work? I suggest you take both keys on Thurs in case they need to sync them.

Turn the key to the on position (don't turn over) wait 5 seconds, remove the key and it should work

Happend to my S4. 1 key stopped working. Dealer reprogrammed keys yesterday, now it works again.

Make sure you take all 4 keys. 2 fobs, valet and plastic

Default I've replaced the battery twice in six months
Even if your red light is coming on you might want to try just replacing the battery with a new one.

No luck resetting(p62 in the manual) the remote? Similar to Fluffhead's and there's no wait
