Default Laser jammer mounting question.....

Would the three open slots below the main grill be too low of a location to mount laser jamming units. I just don't want to rip up the grill and these open spaces seem perfect if they are not too low. Looking at Blinder X25 jammer.

Default should be, that's where my stuff is located. Make sure the angle is correct..

You don't want it aiming straight out but more in towards the front plate if you have one.

Default that's too low for laser jammers! You want it near the center of the grill towards the headlights

Cops shoot lasers near license plates and headlights so the laser beam can bounce back accurately. Putting it underneath the grill will be too low and your laser jammers will not work as well!

Default Kustom Pro Laser III has a beam width of 3' @ 1000'

Police are taught to target the front license plate, or the headlights. Because of this, you will normally want two laser transponders to cover the front of the car.

If you assume that a headlight is painted by the laser, and the beam is 3' wide, then you'll need to place a transponder within 1.5' of the headlight. But you'll also need to cover the complete grill. I'm guessing that for best coverage, you'll want to place two transponders as far left and right as you can in the middle front grill, to give full coverage of the center of the car, and 90% coverage of the headlights.

The transponders should not be recessed and should mount with the face flush with the outside of the grill, otherwise they may be shielded from the laser beam.

Default There's a surface inside the grille above the plateholder that I used. Had the chance to test it....

... with a friend's LIDAR gun (he had one, no idea why) and it deemed pretty damn effective.
