OK - this was new to me. I had heard about it, but my mirror had never moved when engaging reverse before today.

My car had been in the shop recently to have the DRC fixed (successfully so far) and I hadn't noticed that the side-mirror control stalk was turned to the right hand side. Anyway, as I was reversing out of the garage today I noticed that the mirror swiveled downward.

So, after playing around, only the passenger side mirror does this, and ONLY if the control stalk is turned to the right position.

Yes, I did RTFM when I got the car, but I don't think I ever saw this...

lol i didnt know the **** turns it on/off..

i knew the mirror moved when parking but i didn't know if u put the **** in the center position the mirror won't move when in reverse. i thought something was broke.

another thing i noticed is the one-touch close/open window (driver side) wasn't working yesterday. it would click twice but the window wouldn't auto open or close.. for some reason it started working today, i wonder if i hit a button or something..

The manual is so boring and long! I only just learned about the rear cup holder ratchet.

It swiveled down during my test drive then when I bought it, it stopped doing it (after I adjusted the mirrors properly and put it in the "center" position).

And yes the manual is ridiculously long...its more fun to figure it out on your own!
