Default Left and right side rear brake rotors in the rear but only one for the front?

Seems strange to me not to have seperate left and right side rotors in the front to provide effective cooling.

Default It seems smart to Audi's purchasing department.

This was also done on the Corvette Z06 which really doesn't surprise me (from GM). It does surprise me on an Audi though.

Default Not so strange all....

The vents in the rotors are shapped to push air out and therefore you need a left and a right. On all cars, 80%-90% of the braking is done by the front wheels so they are put under the most stress. Temperatures in the rear brakes just don't get high enough to warrant the vents being shapped like for the front so they are just straight so you don't need a left and a right. Many manufacturers do't bother even with left and right for the front as the brakes don'e get hot even in every day driving anyway.

Default I understand that...

This isn't my first time to the rodeo lol.

What I'm saying is my car (maybe all of them I don't know) have directional vented rotors on the REAR (ie: the vents run in the correct directions on both sides) and the front hase what most would consider to be RIGHT side vents with the left corner flowing the opposite of normal.

Default Brembo racing does offer some rotors that are bi-directional. Instead of having vanes like an.....

impeller they have a bunch of stalagmite /stalactite looking things that somehow pump out no matter which way they are spun. Don't know exactly how they work and don't know if the RS4 has them just throwing the idea out.
