Default Lemon Law

Has anyone here had to use lemon law with AOA?

Right now it is in for it's 3rd attempt to fix my cluch pedal issue and I just took it for a test drive and it felt like it will be doing it again. Right now the car has been placed on a "critical repair list".

Thanks,

Matt

Default Technical Service Bulletin,There was one out regarding the clutch...

The issue was really only seen on early RS4's which might be why your dealer isn't going that route (your VIN might not be in the range of the TSB). But, it sounds like they should be looking at that TSB as the potential cause of your issues.

Default TSB= technical service bulletin. It documents specific problems and how to remedy them.

On earlier 2007 RS4s, the hydraulic clutch hose ballooned and causes problems. My car's delivery was delayed for about a week while they fixed it at U.S. port.

They have already replaced this part twice! When you drive the car pretty hard the clutch peddle gets soft and some times it only returns half way. You either use your hand or the top of your foot to get the pedal to return to full position.

There is zero slipping with the clutch.

Default I would let another dealer try if AOA isn't sending a specialist in for the issue...

of course going to another dealership depends on where your are located.

Default Boy, that's not good...

having the clutch pedal act up in that manner. So, it sounds like they're now considering other causes. Time for a look at the internals...

that is my next step...I love this car more than any car I have owned. I picked it up today and it seems like it will be doing it again. The pedal was getting "soft" between hard shifts.

I really like my service advisor and the mechanic that works on it (he is the only one that works on it).

But it is time to try another dealer and if they can't fix it, it is off to my lawyer to contact AOA.

What did they say they did this time to fix the problem?
