Default Lexus IS-F reviews are out ! Wow.. much better than I thought

Interesting quote from Motortrend:

Adding to the "manual" feel is ultra-fast shifting; Lexus claims the tranny can change gears in just 100 milliseconds--as quick as the Ferrari F430's F1 box.

Best Japanese car ever driven

Pretty interesting stuff.. The acceleration figures C&D got are pretty impressive
0-60 4.2s
1/4mi 12.7s @ 114mph

I'm just happy more competitors are entering this segment

From my home forums

Default Looks like Lexus is posing a fight against its BMW, Audi and Mercedes counterparts

The numbers look impressive from C&D. I can't wait for the comparisons.

Default Rice.

...JK.

Nice numbers, it's an impressive car for sure. now if they can only do something about the ugly front, the nasty sides and the larvaboob tailepipes, they may be on to something.

Default I don't see much of a market for this car.

I think the typical Lexus buyer with $65k-ish to spend is probably going to go for the GS430...or the hybrid.

I don't see it as a competitor to either the M3 or RS4, because of the auto tranny. Which leaves the C63, and I don't think anyone in their right mind would choose the IS-F over the C63 at the same price. Having said that, there are plenty of consumers who aren't in their right mind.
