I'm curious...
What types of oil are being used for top-offs?
What oils are being used for changes?
What weights?
When are people doing their first oil change?
What intervals are being followed?
I'm at 1800 miles - 1/2 quart low - adding something tomorrow...
Planning to change at 2K and every 3K thereafter.

in my limited search, the most readily available VW 502.00 spec oil is Castrol Syntec 5W-40.
you might also find Mobil 1 Truck & SUV 5W-40, which is also 502.00.

Here goes...
Top off with VAG specified oils(syntehtic 0w-30, 0w-40, 5w-40)...the manual will list the weights, but not by brand. VAG has a TSB out listing all the approved oils.
Same for changes
First change at 3k. 5k thereafter, despite what Audi says(this is just me).
