looking for local service and maybe some tech support for my rs4
hey guys, I live in the philadelphia area. I'm tired of the dealerships. I don't even think they know how to service my car. I have questions i need answers to. Are there any suggestions on where to go or who to talk to?

What questions you need answered? What's going on at the dealer?
I'm 55 miles north of Philly, have an S4 since new, had some engine managment upgrades by AWE (premier tuner). You need 'general maintenance' and warranty done or upgrades?

I need general maintnence done. I also have some front suspension questions. I have my 5000k service coming up and I'd like to have someone who knows what the hell there looking at do it. I've had multiple issues in the past that would take to long to explain. Before I purchased the rs I had a 06 s4 and was extremley dissapointed by the service.

Sorry to hear that. I have had good experiences at DR
Don't know what you mean by they suck - that's a little general, was it cusitomer service, couldn't diagnose properly, couldn't repair, etc
The audi engineers have overengineered our cars whereas we have not 1 but 2 ECUS in our engines. Pumping out 420 Hp from 250 cubic inches is stretching it.
Anyway good luck with that, mayve AWE, I hear they are good

I've generally been happy with DR...
Sales and sales management suck, but the service team has been good to me.
Would be interested in getting a recommendation for a specialty shop for non-warranty work.

My concern would be that at 5K miles, if there is anything wrong with your car, you are going to want Audi of America to take care of it for you. In turn, they are going to want the car diagnosed and repaired at an authorized dealer. I have relatives and friends in Philadelphia and they tell me that Don Rosen is their choice. If all else fails, ask to speak with Jerry Miller, who runs the operation. I am told he is a very good guy.
