Maybe RS4 competitor? BMW has 550xi in the works with a 408 hp biturbo 4.4 liter V8.

It's from a German Magazine (Auto Bild) so I don't know what the American market plans are. They
claim model year 2009 rollout for a face lift model with new engines.

Interesting but very unimpressive. I would've expected higher output from a biturbo 4.4L V8....
considering the normally aspirated RS4's 'smaller' 4.2L makes more power and the 3-year old RS6's biturbo 4.2L easily trumps it as well.

Gasoline. Expect a super torque curve like the 335 biturbo.
The 335 biturbo doesn't have much more horsepower than the normally aspirated 330, but the torque difference is amazing. The 335 peaks at 1,300 RPM.

Yes, most will probably sold as RWD. I bet you'll see the traction control light blinking an aweful
lot though with the kind of torque this thing will be putting out.
