Maybe time to visit STaSIS, a little less than 1200 miles and DRC is leaking...

Default Maybe time to visit STaSIS, a little less than 1200 miles and DRC is leaking...

I noticed a little fluid on the garage floor under where I park my car. Just a few drops but it was definitely there. Jacked up the car and noticed the passenger side front shock is leaking. Not a lot but enough to run down the strut to the bottom and a few drops on the ground. Hard to believe it started leaking that quickly. I guess it highlights the weakness of the system. I'm just happy it wasn't engine oil. Oil leaks really suck.

Default B5 crybabys will LOVE to hear that news. Simple solution: Warranty.

If everybody runs out and buys aftermarket without taking Audi to the mat on this, then Audi gets zero feedback on the problem and has no incentive to redesign and/or issue a service bulletin/recall to correct the situation.

Demand your rights under the warranty!!!

Default I certainly plan on getting it fixed under warranty but it shouldn't start leaking...

in a few months and 1200 miles. Warranties only last so long and then it starts costing real money.

Default I can't believe Audi went with that system when they know about all the problems they had with...

The RS6. Maybe they had lots of DRCs in stock they wanted to get rid of.

Have you noticed a difference in handling yet?

No, like I said, it is a very slow leak.

Mine was leaking with less than 2500 miles. Stasis solved that, good riddance DRC!

Default It's a very effective system for the car's intent (luxury sport sedan)

Flat handling with little cost in terms of ride compliance. All Audi needs to do is make it more durable, assuming of course that the problem is 1/4 as big as the AudiWorld message board makes it out to be.

The problem is that all you'll hear is the "squeaky wheels". Nobody jumps on AW and starts a thread "My DSR is working fine".

Default My DRC did not leak on my RS6 after 3 years and several track events

but had I decided to keep the car and not turn it back in I would have gotten the Ohlins.
