Default Milltek Exhaust

So I went to the local Audi dealership today, and they have a slightly used, Milltek Dual Stainless Steel Cat-back Exhaust (NON-RESONATED, has NO center mufflers) for $500.00.
1. Good deal? Seems to be in good condition.
2. How loud are they? Any weird drone or hum on the expressway?
3. This is the non-valve milltek. How does that work with the S button? Do I just leave the button on or off?
Let me know what you think?
Thanks,

If I could get one (used or otherwise) for that price here in Australia I would be all over it!

For $500 give it a go - if you don't like it I'm sure someone else would be happy to buy it off you for at least that!

That's a good deal. I would take it.

if you don't want it, would you mind passing the info on to me? I would take it.

That's a good deal. Drone should be minimal if there is any.

The S button still works the same way it did before (better throttle response), but it would no longer control the exhaust valve (sound). You would be full noise all the time.

With out the resonators it sounds great, but IMO, the exhaust is very boomy, and will drone.

I have the same plus downpipes. 1500-2000 rpm there is a drone, but I never have the revs that low. Absolutely quiet for highway cruising.
$500? Bargain.
Let us know what you think.

Love the exhaust, correct about below 2K, but after that what a great sound. Thanks everyone.
