Default Milltek Exhaust?

Ok can you tell I'm a newbie!
How much could I expect to pay for a non-valved resonated catback system with black tips? I can do the work myself so I'm just looking for parts cost.
Is there a "best" place to purchase from?
Any other brands I should consider?
Your suggestions are much appreciated!

Hi,
i just called the Millteck dist. in the Boston area. around $1800, plus install. For non-resonated, with oval tips. i don't believe Stasis has anything for the RS4, but i could be mistaken.

Do after market exhaust add any benefit? What kind of gains can you expect?

Usually they provide a weight savings and more sound, if not a "better" sound. I've seen power claims all over the map, but the stock system is very efficient. I have a simple ECS H Pipe and it's a bit louder, drops 10 pounds, adds maybe a few ponies, and only costs a few hundred dollars. Simple and cheap to install, too. And of course retains the factory valves.

And if he wants black for the exhaust - just don't wash them

Thanks....I am scheduled for my first carbon clean in January and I plan doing my front brakes, manifold spacers, wheel spacers, and possible the ECS H pipe.

Also...today I saw another RS4 on 95 South in VA. Its only the second one I have seen in my area and the only one I have ever seen on the road.
