Default milltek exhaust install ny- where and resonated or non-resonated.

Hello! I am to take delivery of my rs4 on thursday or friday and am very excited. I am looking to install the Milltek exhaust. My primary concern was droning if I take the non-resonated form as I drive a lot of highway miles, but it sounds awesome on the videos i have seen. any opinions? also what is a good place in the nyc, greenwich area to have the exhaust installed.

thanks!

Default I just ordered mine from brian at ICS performance in CT.

I live in Boston but they were the closest dealer so he's shipping it up here. He said the install would be 200 and my system was 1800. He included shipping and actually sold it to me for 1750 because I ordered one for a friend too. Good guy.

I got the resonated version for my S5. I think right now that is the only way I can get it for my car.

Fun Christmas present!

Default I would go non-resonated

It sounds unbelievable. Loud but not too obnoxiously loud.

Default Strat has both res and non-res for $1699 right now and besides, no matter which way you go, you can

always convert back by buying the resonators or centre pipe needed. Might even be nice to have both options on hand right from the getgo.

Default

There's no switch on the resonated version (although that would be nice)

Default Non resonated if you never plan on getting downpipes....

some people say non resonated with downpipes is too loud so if you plan on going that route maybe you want to consider resonated but otherwise, w/o downpipes the resonated is pretty quiet.

Default I had non-res/valved and it was a bit loud, but not too bad...

I have a set of resonated centerpipes also, but I never ended up using them.

If you want to do non-res, and then decide it's too loud, I can sell you the pipes I have for cheap.

Quick Reply: milltek exhaust install ny- where and resonated or non-resonated.
